| .:. ANNOUNCE |
When you have the helm of a ship, Announce lets you speak as its captain to everyone aboard. Use it to call your passengers together or let them know what lies ahead. Syntax: > announce <message> Example: > announce Elin, please join us on deck. Land is in sight! You must be aboard the ship and have taken its helm. If you have learned to sail, type sail with no direction at an unoccupied helm to take control. Typing it again lets go of the helm. Your announcement reaches the ship, not everyone on the MUD. For a conversation with someone beside you, you can simply use Say. See also: Say, Seafolk Ships |
