Of all of the Borderlands, Kandor has a thriving center for trade, with a guild for merchants. Kandori merchants have a strong reputation, and bring much wealth into the nation from trade with other lands. Kandor is currently ruled by Her Most Illuminated Majesty, Ethenielle Cosaru Noramaga, By the Blessing of the Light, Queen of Kandor, Protector of the Land, Shield of the North, and High Seat of House Noramaga. Queen Ethenielle sits on the Throne of the Clouds, and wields the Sword of Kirukan, the weapons of all Queens of Kandor. The Sword of Kirukan is said to have been carried by the legendary warrior-queen of Aramaelle, and it is said to be a power-wrought weapon. Legend says that Kirukan had beheaded a false Dragon with her own hands, and bore two sons by another man who could channel. Or maybe the one she beheaded was the same as the father of her children. The Swordbearer carries the Sword of Kirukan for the Queen with the hilt in easy reach, and commands the armies of Kandor. Kandori men are recognized by their forked beards and the silver chains worn over their coats. Kandori also wear an earring, and Kandori merchants often wear earrings that are quite ostentatious. Members of the nobility also wear chains over their clothes and earrings. Mourning in Kandor: Comforts are kept to a minimum in a house of mourning.
